Could you be an SEO freelancer?

Even if you don’t have a website of your own, consider learning SEO as a skill to freelance.

Ahrefs ran a survey a couple of years back and found that 50% of SEO freelancers were charging at least $75/hour. And it’s probably even more now 🤑

You could take pretty much any section of Brian Dean’s aforementioned tutorial, learn the basics of it, then pitch your services to clients:

  • Keyword research
  • Content creation
  • Optimizing content for UX
  • On-page SEO
  • Content promotion
  • Link building
  • Technical SEO

You could even get more specific and provide one of the 7 link building services Brian lists here.

The coolest thing about learning a skill like SEO is that you can earn money as a freelancer AND apply the same skill to your own projects down the line 😎

(Skills like copywriting and Facebook ads are also great in that respect.)
