Henry David Thoreau’s Walden was a huge influence on me to return to my roots and appreciate Nature + minimalism.

A huge influence the last few years has been Terrence McKenna.

Mel: Thanks for that recommendation. I really like the monthly reports the guy is doing there. Planning on something similar myself once I setup my business. Glen & Colin: Thrilled to have you guys checking out the blog and commenting. Thanks for all the help and inspiration you've both given me so far. Emmett: Are you based in Waterford still? I'd love to meet up and pick your brain about some business stuff when I move back in December. ERE: There's definite value in coming up with your own theories, but I believe there's a sweet spot there between following your heroes blindly and reinventing the wheel because you're determined to be unique. That's the spot I'm trying to hit; learning from the mistakes and successes of others while taking time to come up with my own theories and walk my own path. Ksenia: It's just as important to figure out what kind of life you don't want, I find. And keep asking yourself, "What would I do if I knew I couldn't fail?" That's a good indication of what you should be aiming for.

I guess it can be useful to listen to people who lives the live you want. The only problem is that I’m not sure about what kind of live I want :S

The people you listed here have done great achievements. I visited Glen Allsopp’s blog, and I’m really impressed. I can’t believe he’s only one year older than me! :O

I don’t listen to anyone on an ongoing basis (I am not subscribed to any blogs, believe or not.) that is I can not identify single persons. I usually get my info from wiki and then eventually combine it into “my own theories”.
