Niall, I’ve been following you for a few months now. I’m not in the best of moods right now but I know I will be better tomorrow. I’m thinking about my kids, who are not guilty of anything. Then I’m thinking about myself. I just watched the Terry Pratchett euthanasia movie and that was sad. Also, a friend of mine had her breast removed because of cancer. But tomorrow is a new day and I believe it will be better than today if we allow to.

Thanks, Drew. I’m looking for peace of mind with my finances, too. Three straight months now I’ve spent much more than I’ve earned. Still, I’m pretty happy. I just gotta keep working hard and I’m confident I’ll get a handle on the finance side of things.

I remember watching a TED Talk before and the speaker made a similar point about the Constitution. One definition of pursue is “to follow in order to overtake, capture, kill, etc.” I don’t think it’s wise to overtake, capture or kill happiness

I don’t think it’s happiness I’m currently looking for so much as peace of mind, primarily over money.

We are ever-expanding; the fulfillment of dreams never ends.

If it did, then what? We’d be bored.

I think our Constitution has a major flaw calling it the PURSUIT of happiness. You can’t catch happiness by pursuing it; you must BE it, embody it, create it within yourself. It’s not something outside of you that you catch.

That’s what I think, anyways.
