As Seen In…
An attempt to keep track of my mentions and appearances on other parts of the web, as well as in traditional media. Listings are in reverse chronological order.
My second feature article for the Examiner, focused on the travel lifestyles of Irishmen Benny Lewis and Johnny Ward. You can read the article here on the Examiner website, or check the original, unedited version on the blog: The Fascinating Lifestyles of Ireland’s New Rich.
I chatted with a DJ on to this popular Cork radio station to discuss my trip around the world without flying. Thanks to Jonathan Gold for getting in touch and setting up the whole thing.
The Irish Sun
Off the back of my Examiner article (see below), I was contacted my The Irish Sun and they subsequently wrote this piece about my travels. Many thanks to Aoife Finneran for all her work on the article.
The Examiner kindly featured an article I wrote summing up the first six months of my trip around the world without flying. Huge thanks to Siobhan Cronin for the opportunity. You can read the article here on the Examiner website, or check the original, unedited version on the blog: Diary of a Dream Chaser.
CBC Radio One
Thanks to my article about flirting with 100+ women in two weeks in Amsterdam, I was invited to chat with DNTO’s Sook-Yin Lee about what I learned from the experience. You can listen to their special Valentine’s Day show here. I’m on at the 35:45 mark. Thanks to Sara Tate for arranging the interview.
While in Zürich I was interviewed by a French/German TV magazine show about minimalism. You can watch the interview here, in French. For those of you who don’t speak French, just assume everything I say in that video is incredibly insightful and intelligent.
This Dutch national newspaper ran a story about minimalism in which I was featured. If you understand Dutch, you can read the story online here (thanks to Vincent for the link).
I was invited on to the Ray D’Arcy Show, one of the most widely listened to radio shows in Ireland, to talk about minimalism (in particular, they wanted to know more about me owning less than 60 things). I managed to nab a recording of the chat I had with Mr. D’Arcy. Here’s the mp3.
